Childcare providers for 2025-26 UPK announced, lottery sign-ups coming next week

Warwick Valley Central School District will once again be offering its popular Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program during the 2025-2026 school year. The UPK program provides early learning experiences for the children of WVCSD residents, and is funded through a New York State Education Department grant. 

As required by NYS regulations, the district will hold a lottery to determine who will be awarded the 132 available slots for 2025-2026. Lottery signups for UPK begin at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 2, 2025 and continue through Monday, May 19, 2025 at 4:00 pm. If your student is selected, you will be notified by June 9, 2025.
